He's a would-be wide boy, a smooth operator who walks with a confident swagger. Always with an eye out for an opportunity, he's a dreamer of mad schemes and impossible outcomes. When it comes to grand plans, no-one can match him for imagination and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, he doesn't always think things all the way through, sometimes with disastrous results.

On his good side, he is quick off the mark, inventive and can think on his feet, with a bold outlook on life and a quick if quirky wit.

But while he can be a brat (or should that be bat?), this spoiled, double-dealing scam artist is a lovable rogue, whose unquenchable energy and boundless optimism tend to sweep up those around him, especially the all too trusting DUNCAN
