QUASI QUASI is Maug Stone Hall's hunchbacked caretaker and odd-job-mister-fix-it man. That means he also gets to indulge in his favourite activity - ringing the school bell. He's a cheery if rather scatter-brained soul who does not seem at all disconcerted by his physical shape - in fact, he expresses sympathy for his unhunched (and unseen) brother named Humphrey. (Humpfree?) Although likable, QUASI is not the sharpest tool in the shed and that lays him open to all manner of pranks and practical jokes. All kids love to fool an adult - especially if those kids are LI'L HORRORS - and QUASI is a perfect target. Fortunately, he can never hold a grudge for long. His naturally upbeat temperament and sunny outlook always win out in the end.
